Forgotten Spaces 2011 shortlisted: A Bit of Peace and Quiet by de Rosee and Sa

The terrace form is taken from that of an ancient theatre, allowing the formation of a large yet intimate space. From within the garden all that is visible is the sky above against the soft border of the giant hedge.
