Mike Nelson: Magazine Book Works,2003. £25.Distributor 020 7247 2203

Like sets for a low-budget film noir, Mike Nelson's installations make the city into a labyrinth of seedy rooms and ill-lit corridors, in which a sense of disquiet or menace is never far away.Seen in recent years at Matt's Gallery, the Venice Biennale, Tate Britain and the ICA, they can have a visceral effect, though - being largely repetitive - one wonders how much more mileage Nelson can get from them.Meanwhile Magazine, with its uninterrupted flow of images from these previous shows, has the creepy, claustrophobic quality of the installations themselves.
