Reid Architecture asked to design undisclosed site

Reid Architecture has been asked to design a masterplan for an undisclosed site in the Middle East.

The centrepiece of the scheme will be a tablelike building (pictured), which is being dubbed 'The Gate of the Four Winds'.

Devised by the company's Spanish office, Reid-Fenwick Asociados, the 'contained' volume would be larger than the volume of any other building in the world.

The masterplan includes five 'themed' manmade islands and will cover an area bigger than Madrid.
