RCA victor?

Another planning controversy concerns Sir Nicholas Grimshaw's proposals for the Royal College of Art, now with Westminster council. The council is broadly in favour of the elliptical building, and English Heritage is apparently happy. None of this is welcome news to the architect of the adjacent building, Jim CadburyBrown (a Festival of Britain veteran). I am told he feels that while perfectly well designed in itself, the Grimshaw scheme destroys the composition of his own Albert Hall frontage. All one can say is that different people have different views about this. It keeps the world going round.
