Question of trust

astragal

RIBA Trust director Charles Knevitt must be feeling cheered up, having begun his job this autumn to discover the trust had no headed notepaper!

Good news from Norman Foster, who has been impressed by the new RIBA/V&A facilities (the institute's good news story of the year) and has now given £100,000 for educational purposes. Second (more on this in the new year), the AJ/AR photographic archive, totalling more than 500,000 images taken over 50 years, is being given to the RIBA Library, under the aegis of photography curator Robert Elwall and new librarian Irena Murray. Call it a cultural Christmas present?
