Some 1,150m 2of Harcon BV polycarbonate barrel vault rooflights have been installed on new units at Threemilestone Retail Park in Truro.

Harcon BV is the latest of a series of new products from Hartington Conway in the past year. Lightweight and easy to handle, it has no frame or thermal bridge, yet meets all roof safety and thermal performance requirements.

Architect Brian Wright eschewed a modern steel-clad structure for Lincoln's new Charlton Centre in favour of traditional materials in keeping with the town's historic importance. The steep roofs and gables are achieved with Sandtoft's 20/20 interlocking clay tiles in natural red and russet, creating a striking panorama at a modest cost.

Some of the largest glass panels ever installed in Scotland have been supplied to the two-storey curtain wall facade of the prestigious recently opened Harvey Nichols store in Edinburgh, by Liverpool-based HansenGlass.

Charles Henshaw and Sons, the Edinburgh-based facade specialist, required HansenGlass ThermoCool insulating glass units in excess of 8m 2
