RAF Finningley air station, near Doncaster, is to become the new Robin Hood Airport, the first major civil airport to be developed for 30 years. As part of the conversion work, parking spaces for more than 3,000 cars plus another 200 disabled bays were required. The Hewlett Group, working with main contractor Bovis Lend Lease, was responsible and Polystorm modular storage units were chosen as the most effective drainage solution. Manufacturer Polypipe Civils worked closely with Hewlett to produce a design that was practical and simple to install.
