Ping pong

astragal

A curious odour reaches me on the first floor of 66 Portland Place. It seems to originate from the gallery, where tatami mats help give ambience to the 4x4 Japanese architecture exhibition. I find it rather pleasing in a restful, rural sort of way. This view is not universally shared, however: 'The mats are stinking the place out! The gallery smells like a farmyard!' opines one staffer.
