This year's 40 Under 40 gathered in London's Russell Square to pose for the photograph on the cover of this week's AJ. The only absentee was Glasgowbased architect Gareth Hoskins, who, not unreasonably, chose to honour a long-standing arrangement to speak at an RIAS conference alongside Fumihiko Maki, Glenn Murcutt and Ken Shuttleworth.
