Piano's forte

astragal

Nice moment from the opening crossexamination of Renzo Piano at the London Bridge Tower inquiry. He was asked why he had designed his tower for this particular site. Instead of waffle about the bend of the river, the relationship with Southwark etc, he simple noted that this was the site he had been asked to design on. Renzo, welcome to the Plain English Club.
