Stranmillis University College, Stranmillis Road, Belfast

This project is a flagship for sustainability and quality design within the Northern Ireland education sector. The site is within a conservation area amongst several listed buildings close to the city centre.

The contemporary building sits sensitively in its location, connecting to the surrounding landscape through the use of natural materials such as cedar timber cladding. The vertical timber clad flitch plate elements support cedar brise soleil and the building has achieved a BREEAM rating of Very Good.
