On reflection


David Adjaye's house for artists Tim and Sue Noble in London's East End is attracting attention and providing a service to the public, though not always as originally envisaged.The Nobles were somewhat taken aback when looking out of a generous window at ground level to find themselves staring regularly into the eyes of a local lady of easy virtue, who stops there every day for a make-up check in her reflection before going on to work.
