Official: Lord Rogers is a 20th century great

News in brief

Richard Rogers is the only living architect to have made it onto Radio 3's top-100 list of the century's most influential artists. Rogers is listed alongside novelists, playwrights, artists and poets as well as late great architects such as Le Corbusier, Walter Gropius, Charles Rennie Mackintosh, Ludwig Mies van der Rohe and Frank Lloyd Wright. The figures appear in the new radio programme Centurions, which profiles one of the 100 every Sunday for the next two years.
