Meeting requirements Tailor-made furniture for BT Global Services' new ú90 million centre in Cardiff Bay was designed and supplied by Greenwood and Wood. For the meeting rooms, the company created flexible, interlocking multi-functional furniture that can accommodate a general hospitality area as well as cinema or theatre-style presentations. An elliptical table and concealed storage units complete the installation.

H& R JOHNSON TILES
Tiles bring Himalayas to Staffordshire The walls and floors of the Staffordshire Wildlife Trust's new headquarters in Wolseley have used tiles from H & R Johnson in neutral tones to create a stone effect. Replicating the look of limestone, sandstone and slate, tiles from the Himalayas range were installed in the reception, loggia and washrooms.
Prismatics tiles in Ocean Blue and Spearmint were used for washroom walls .

Stone finish extends to washrooms Burlington's Broughton Moor natural stone has been incorporated throughout the washrooms and WC areas of the Merrill Lynch Financial Centre in London. Some 50m 2ofspecial size 296 x 296 x 20mm floor tiles in midgreen were specified throughout the building's 60 washroom areas. Broughton Moor stone was also used on all vanity units. Specified for its durability, it has a colour consistency that complements the range of pale limestones and stone finishes used elsewhere in the building.

Masonry sets sail on Liverpool dock The Twelve Princes Dock development on Liverpool's waterfront has used more than 900m 2 of white Architectural Masonry from Forticrete to form a dramatic sail-like structure.
Some 900 Precast Hallmark Diamond special units were also purpose-made to create an external curved section of the 18m-high wall, which guides visitors towards the main reception area. The wall is constructed in a stackbonded format and polished on both faces for a smooth finish.

Beat the weather Foam sealing tapes supplied by Compriband have been used to provide weather-sealing solutions for the new headquarters of a travel company in Kent. Illmod 600 precompressed foam tapes have been used around timber infill panels, the steel framework and along the top of walls to form a seal at the wall-soffit interface between steelwork, blockwork and timber.

Atrium roof is made safe from breaking Bekaert dealer Absolute Window Films has applied ArmorCoat window film to 9,000 windows and the glazed atrium roof of a London office building. Applied to the internal face of the window, ArmorCoat forms a tough bond with the glass. Should the glass shatter as the result of an explosion, the film holds the fragments in place, preventing potential injuries and further structural damage. ArmorCoat films are comprised of clear, tinted or reflective layers of polyester in varying thicknesses.
