Oasys' greatest hits

New technology was the order of the day at this year's Oasys Awards. Here we list the roll of honour

Video and website presentations dominated the Oasys Awards for the first time this year. Since the awards go to students and recent graduates in architecture and engineering, the designers of tomorrow, this should be an indication of the way that computer visualisation and simulation will go.

Standards were generally high, with the judges impressed by students' grasp of both the newest technology and of the potential of the more conventional pictures.

Sponsored by The Architects' Journal and New Civil Engineer, the awards were judged by Julia Barfield of Marks Barfield, Paul Finch, publishing director of AJ, Ian Liddell of Buro Happold and Mike Winney, editor emeritus of NCE.
