No small turnout

It was another formidable turnout for the AJ Small Projects party at the RIBA last Monday. Notable grandees included John Pardey, who gave an enjoyable and admirably brief speech, Simon Allford and Paul Finch. Members of London's young up-and-coming set who turned up included Amin Taha, Foster Lomas, Markland Klaschka and acq.

Oh and, of course, we cannot forget Nord Architects, the young Scottish practice that picked up first prize for its work in Stirlingshire and came all the way down from north of the border to enjoy the bash. Fun, I think it is fair to say, was had by all and continued, rather unsurprisingly, into everyone's favourite postPortland Place hostelry, the Dover Castle.
