NO PENALTY FROM ARB

An architect who was fined £500 and ordered to pay £1,000 costs following a health and safety prosecution has escaped any further punishment from the ARB's Professional Conduct Committee. Neil Vesma previously pleaded guilty to a charge under the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations at Gloucester Magistrates' Court for failing to specify that heavy building blocks had to be lifted - not carried.
