EDAW has unveiled its masterplan for Liverpool's King's Waterfront site. The plan includes a multi-use arena, exhibition space, conference centre, apartments, offices, hotel, leisure and retail uses.

There will also be substantial public spaces and a multistorey car park. Liverpool Vision, the company behind the regeneration project, is preparing to announce the winner of a competition for the conference and exhibition centre. The shortlisted practices are Foster and Partners, Raphael Vinoly, SOM, Wilkinson Eyre Architects and HOK.
