No confusion over KIAD students' qualifications

Further to your article (AJ 14.4.05), there is no confusion or uncertainty at the ARB about the continued prescription of the qualifications gained by students at the Kent Institute of Art and Design's (KIAD) Canterbury School of Architecture.

It has always been understood that KIAD has responsibility for the delivery and quality assurance of the courses and examinations leading to the prescribed qualifications - prescription has been granted on this basis. The ARB's General Rules, where all prescribed qualifications are listed, refer to KIAD, as well as to the University of Kent at Canterbury, which is the awarding body.
