Natural approach brightens nursery

PRODUCTS IN PRACTICE - SCHOOLS,COLLEGES AND UNIVERSITIES

GLIDEVALE To create a bright environment within the premises of the Gateway (Educational & Childcare) Trust in Bartestree, Herefordshire, five Glidevale tubular roof-lights were specified for the internal corridors, shower room and utility areas. The building was designed with the external domes almost directly over the internal 'opening', maximising natural daylight by minimising bends in the light reflective tubing.

The specular silvered aluminium tubes have 95 per cent reflectivity and are compliant with Part L regulations for thermal performance.
