Zaha Hadid's Seoul Series table revealed in Milan

Concept designs by Zaha Hadid and Patrik Schumacher for the Seoul Series of furniture previewed at the Milan Furniture Fair

The range includes a table, a desk, a fireplace, a vase grouping, a tea service and a shelf system. The Seoul Series will be officially launched later this year at the Istanbul Biennale.

American arts organisation NY Projects commissioned the range. Recent activities by NY Projects have included talks by Christo and Jeanne-Claude, and an exhibition of Georg Baselitz paintings in Seoul, South Korea. The founder, Yung Hee Kim said: ‘Since the rise of Zaha Hadid’s major architectural projects around the globe, there has been a growing demand for her avant-garde work.’
