London mayor Ken Livingstone has ordered Transport for London (TfL) and the London Development Agency (LDA) to 'do everything necessary' to prepare the city for the Olympic Games in 2012.

Livingstone is demanding that both TfL and the LDA carry out site clearance, demolition and decontamination before the new Olympic Delivery Authority takes over running the multibillionpound project.
