Together Chair by Ben Huggins

Ben Huggins’ Together Chair for New British Design at Tent London

Plywood / Paint

420 x 700 x 750

Ben Huggins’ Together Chair is the first piece of furniture to launch New British Design’s Design Patron scheme, which allows design lovers an opportunity to invest in a share of the first batch run of a product in return for a limited edition piece.

The prototype models of the Together Chair, on show at Tent London, have been produced individually using a vacuum-formed plywood process. The first production run prototypes will use a mechanical heat press veneer process. This higher volume commercial process will require set up and tooling costs that will be funded by New British Design’s Patron Scheme.

New British Design will be looking for 20 patrons to invest £300 each in return for a dated and numbered limited edition of the Together Chair from the first batch.

The Together chair will be available in shops this autumn for around £375, and online at
