This year's Architecture Week, with events across the country from 18-27 June, is billed as 'a chance to think about the built environment and the way we live in it'. One of the opening events is 'Making it Work'- a conference in Hastings on design-led regeneration with speakers from several well-known practices.Later highlights include a debate at the National Theatre (above) on the merits or otherwise of Denys Lasdun's building.The NT's director, Nicholas Hytner, will be joined by actress Fiona Shaw and architect Mark Foley.
