Kid's stuff

CABE Space was the name chosen for the new CABE group dealing with urban space, particularly parks and gardens. Formed in response to a request from John Prescott at last year's urban summit, it is about to be launched formally now it has a director, Julia Thrift (another great name), most recently at the Civic Trust. The launch event takes place next month, at Coram Fields, the Bloomsbury gardens which were formerly the site of the foundling hospital founded by Thomas Coram in the 18th century. I do hope the organisers realise that adults unaccompanied by a child are not allowed in!
