Just not enough room to do justice to all

Thank you for a generous and upbeat review by John McKean of my Case Studies (AJ 13.3.03).

No slight was intended by the supposed 'omission' of Loos and Plecnik, nor would their interest in cladding put me off: there's plenty of discussion in the book of 'tectonic fiction'. You just can't get more than this number of case studies in a 250-page book without making them too thin.

I would like to have included also Lubetkin, Schindler, Melnikov, Rietveld, Gray Perhaps there will be a chance for a second volume.
