  • Green ramp all the way. - Brilliant design with a realistic approach.

    Unsuitable or offensive?

  • I prefer Solar Slice because of its brilliant idea of expanding passive house idea

  • In my estimation the 'Manhattan Sky Podium' project seems to be the best out of the qualified entries. The iconic appearance of the building does not make it seem out of place. The varying levels in the building are a refreshing change from the conventional high rises in Manhattan. The fact that the aforementioned features as well as the elevated recreation public space are housed in a passive building increases the worth and credibility of this project.

  • I think that Solar Slice has the newest concern of our todays life that needs a serious attention and yeahh that's Energy plus in this case everything has been designed as well as possible !!!
so I choose Solar Slice as the best one

  • 'Manhattan Sky Podium' project is the best entry without doubt. The unique building design is refreshing and so very workable. The appearance of the building makes it fit without disturbing view of others in the vicinity. The building is a refreshing change with the elevated recreation public spaces, connecting other buildings and giving approach to public facilities makes it merge with surronding buildings. The garden developed on terraces of all adjoining buildings as well makes it stand out from the concrete jungle of Manhattan. It gives a soothing visual effect so different from the conventional high rises in Manhattan.

  • I think solar slice is a combination of art and engineering which unleashes everyone's soul from roughness and boring affect of structures, and i call it the art of engineering. I say these words as a civil engineer, which understands the problems what i talked about. Consideration of sun light in designing in such a manner was amazing for me too.

  • Green ramp is not just a green space but what i believe red space -people space- a catalyst for an active public realm- which is most essential component for healthy sustainable cities that thrive on economy and public interactions . Where most architecture is introvert and repelling exchanges from the street, the green ramp engages the street and extends the private to the public.

  • I do prefer The Green Ramp.

Roof and outside walls of the Ramp can also serve as advertising surface side-by-side, adding to financial viability of the project.
It exploits vertical space in an environmentally friendly way while creating a beautiful city scape and commercial opportunities. Very much in-sync with Jeb Brugmann's idea of a global Citysystem, put forward in his book Welcome to the Urban Revolution.

    Unsuitable or offensive?

  • A very practical design with lots of hours of ponderous thinking which is the hallmark of any good design. It has to be user friendly. This certainly is.

    Unsuitable or offensive?

  • Manhattan Sky Podium is only the one to stand out and win as it is the "BEST"

    Unsuitable or offensive?

  • I support Solar Slices as I believe that in The Passive House concept , buildings can be designed in accordance with their natural environments so that conventional heating and cooling systems are not needed, this system fundamentally altered the relationship between buildings, their surroundings and their inhabitants. In principle, this design also support solar power which is one of the most cost-effective alternative energies of the future.

    Unsuitable or offensive?

  • The Green Canyons shows brilliant idea of highly utilizing the space in such a spectacular building art. I really like the green designing component that creates the "green" in multiple layers.

    Unsuitable or offensive?

  • The Green Canyons of course!
Excellent idea of linking the city at height and utilizing the spaces between the existing skyscrapers.....
