This is the second time that Formica has worked closely with Will Alsop to create a stunning interior for the AJ's architecture pavilion using digital print laminate. This year, Alsop has chosen to use one of Formica's new products, Naturelle. Ebony with the new Naturelle finish (F9012) has been chosen for use on a number of surfaces. Polished Gold Aluminium from Formica Metallics and black high-pressure laminate with a gloss finish will be used on the internal fixtures and fittings, including the bar, tables and internal partitions.

Naturelle is part of the new Range Additions 2006 selection, which complements and extends the Collection range, and has been developed for Formica's woodgrain-effect laminates.

Addressing the design trend for surface materials that offer visual and tactile qualities, the Naturelle finish has a matte, velvety feel that emulates smoothly planed, oiled or wax-treated wood. A range of 11 new Woodgrains comes with the Naturelle finish as standard.
