Ian Simpson Architects

Ian Simpson Architects has won a design and interview competition to design this tower for a £30 million development in Manchester. The practice's appointment - made in conjunction with the city council - is for the site formerly occupied by ATS on the Mancunian Way.

The winning project aims to deliver two buildings of 'flexible office space', student residences and key-worker housing. These will be located above an elevated landscaped podium and there will also be a 'dramatic raised garden' between the two schemes.
