Another anecdote that made the throng titter came from el presidente himself, George Ferguson. He described an occasion when he and Will Alsop had been judging an award. After a couple of days touring buildings, Alsop handed over his thoughts on three A4 pages. Apparently the architectural critique was uncharacteristically minimalist, while most of the prose was dedicated to ruminations on the quality of wine sampled over the trip. It's always good to see Mr A has his priorities right.
