Garkau Cow Shed left me in a confused state

I attempted your awful spot the changes conundrum about the Garkau Cow Shed (AJ 20.3.03).

Awful, because changes from what? The 1922 design? Completion in 1925? Your crummy old photo, circa 1990? The two extra brick decorative courses on the root cellar wall, centre of picture, and the third double window in the band to the right of the door are obvious. But the glazing strip above the door used to run right round (no white 'column') and the green cladding top right cannot be there, as that wall continues to link with the corner just visible to the extreme right. But, also, there is no white horizontal strip under the windows to which you added a third, so one of these five is a real change (I think the third, the white downstand - the other four are yours. ) John McKean, Brighton
