Furry future

I don't think I have adequately mentioned that quite famous blog, Jetson Green. You get a daily email or, if you prefer, an RSS feed. Either way it's free and normally interesting and informative. Don't be put off by the Green bit, as if you would, because the site's manifesto also talks about liking 'stunning buildings and market innovation.' It's run by Preston Koerner, a Utah lawyer so it can be a bit over the top language-wise. For example, a nice but supremely conventional mono pitch house in the forest, first floor timber walls sitting on a blockwork basement is described as 'gorgeous'. But there is some good stuff in the archive which has a simple but effective topic index. I haven't been able to suss out the Jetson bit apart from the loose connection with that Hanna-Barbera Flintstones spin-off, that futuristic cartoon, The Jetsons. But unsophisticated is one of the charms of blogs. And Green is a bit furry and unsophisticated as well. No. I know it's important. Critical even. Please don't write in. Much better pootle over to Jetson Green and try out a subscription.
