Fraser's tall tale

Malcolm Fraser Architects is starting on site with its £2.5 million Scottish Storytelling Centre in Edinburgh's Old Town.

The centre, on the city's High Street, which sits adjacent to and incorporates the 16th-century John Knox House, will provide a home for a national storytelling network. The scheme involves the major refurbishment of the 1970s Netherbow Arts Centre, which includes the reworking of the building's auditorium, entry and street elevation. It also creates a resource and education centre, and a storytelling court. The project is part funded by the Scottish Arts Council National Lottery.
