Ash & Lacy Building Products A large classroom block at Bramhall High School is now leak free following the installation of Ash & Lacy's Ashjack overroof conversion system. Individual trusses were delivered to site, positioned on steel stills, and then fixed to the building.

The lightweight framing system was then over-clad with insulated composite panels to achieve a U-value of 0.25W/m 2K in line with current building requirements.

Interface Interface has installed its Tatami Zuan Ito carpet tiles at NestlÚ Rowntree's York office. The area required a colourful floor that would individualise the location of different teams within the department. Dark Metallic Silver and Zinc Grey Irius fasteners were used to secure the 13,000m 2Kalzip standing-seam roofing section of the factory. Irius has a low-profile head that can be lacquered to match the colour of the cladding panel, making it less obtrusive.

Pilkington Pilkington has developed a laminated fire-resistant glass, successfully tested for up to 60 minutes integrity and insulation. Pilkington 23mm Pyrostop glass allows larger panels of glass to be constructed, while still retaining the fire-resistant properties of the Pyrostop brand. Tested in sizes up to 1,495mm x 2,895mm, it provides a barrier to smoke, hot gases and flame, and achieves a Class A safety rating.

Niche Niche has designed a bespoke heating and cooling system for London's Sketch Restaurant gallery and bar.
