Flexible units assure air traffic control

TRANSPORT AND INDUSTRIAL BUILDINGS AET

With different businesses likely to come and go in the commercial office space of the redeveloped Farnborough airfield in Hampshire, the AET Flexible Space system was chosen to overcome the limitations of traditional air conditioning. It uses the plenum under a raised access floor as a duct, with zones supplied with chilled or warmed air by a conditioned air-module. Supply air is drawn in by fan-assisted terminal units which are easily interchangeable with floor panels, allowing easy reconfiguration.
