THROUGH THE VIEWFINDER

English Heritage has just launched its Viewfinder project, which makes 20,000 photographs from its collection available on the internet - and more will follow. For the moment, there are two main sections: one called England at Work and the other devoted to the photographer Henry W Taunt, who was based in Oxford from 1860-1922. Above is one of Taunt's photos of a mill in Witney (http: //viewfinder. english-heritage. org. uk)
