I can't believe I haven't mentioned before the blog Arch Daily. As with all interesting websites you take out a free subscription rather than actually visiting the site so there are RSS, FaceBook and even YouTube feeds, plus daily emails.
ArchDaily is terrific, does quite big images, commentary in plain English rather than architectural strangulese, allows comments and its shy managers have a good eye for interesting buildings.
There are also links to such as the impressive Chilean Plataforma Arquitectura.
The site is run by architects who, I think, are based in New York but the architecture comes from all over the world. Unlike a number of architectural news feeds it's strength, (as with Marcus Fairs' Dezeen), is that it is first visual and textual second. We're not against architectural polemic, it's just that first thing in the morning you need a visual rather than aural jolt with your Weetabix.
