We Made That, collaborated with The Klassnik Corporation and Riitta Ikonen, on the project.
The interventions include, facts, both expert and everyday, collected through workshops and websites to be displayed on benches throughout the Olympic Park, wildflower meadows and new entrances to The Greenway.

Fantastic Factology: Fact on bench
We Made That say ‘Our proposals are collectively entitled ‘Fantasticology’; they are designed to reveal both the factual and incredible, the local and universal, in the new landscape of the park.
Working closely with the Parklands and Public Realm team and the Olympic Park landscape designers, we have developed “Fantastic-Archaeology”, a series of planting designs for wildflower meadows as a floral celebration of the past industrial heritage of the site.’

Fantastic Factology: Meadows
Sited between Hadid’s Aquatics Centre and Populous’ Olympic Stadium, the meadows vivid floral display aims to become a focus for conversation, relating to both the history and current biodiversity of the site.
The meadows use different species of wildflower, recreating footprints of previous industrial buildings sited on the estates to becoming a celebration of the past.
