Credit due for Harvey Nichols development

Lifschutz Davidson quite rightly won a RIBA award for the fit-out of the Harvey Nichols restaurant in Edinburgh.

However it would have been nice, even equitable, if we at Comprehensive Design Architects had been mentioned in the text as the author of the restaurant terrace and of the shell, of the rest of the Harvey Nichols store including the primary fit-out, and indeed the architect of the wider mixeduse development in which the store sits.

Had all this been designed by a 'signature' architect there is no doubt there would have been a reference.

Lifschutz Davidson did a great job on the interior of the restaurant and we enjoyed working closely with them on it, but the backdrop didn't exactly hinder them.
