Searching for Cassiopeia at the Crypt of the Museum of the Order of St John
The Norman crypt at the Order of St John has been decked out with 12 concept chairs from Fabrica for Clerkenwell Design Week
The exhibition is entitled ‘Searching for Cassiopeia’ and was presented at MOST, a design hub curated by Tom Dixon during the Milan Furniture Fair.
The 12 designs try to reveal the different ways someone can sit, with benches, stools, armchairs, work chairs and recliners all represented in the exhibition.
Designers from Fabrica visited companies at the Italian Chair District, a centre in Friuli Venezia Giulia in north east Italy, to gain inspiration for the chairs.
