The Construction Industry Council (CIC) has slammed the lack of any built-environment knowledge among the membership of the Department of Trade and Industry's new Technology Strategy Board. CIC chief executive Graham Watts said he was fuming that the board comprises senior people from the worlds of IT, manufacturing and telecommunications but no one from construction or architecture.
