CABE WARNS LEEDS
CABE has warned Leeds City Council that it must make drastic improvements to the quality of its new buildings if it wants to avoid losing investment opportunities to other UK cities.The agency's chief executive Jon Rouse contrasted Leeds'poor record with that of Newcastle, which in the past five years has commissioned Dominic Williams' Baltic Centre and Foster and Partners' Sage Music Centre.
