Busy future

Richard Burton held an excellent retirement party at his home in Kentish Town last Sunday, after a half century of practice with ABK. A splendid group of friends, colleagues and family enjoyed the house he designed for himself and Mireille; no one heard any evidence that RB will be taking it particularly easy away from the practice.

Although he is planning to spend more time painting and drawing, he also has plenty on his plate as a key adviser to NHS Estates, and promoter of low-cost housing schemes for key workers on underused sites.Watch out for a few more fireworks yet.
