BRICKWORK

PRODUCTS IN PRACTICE - HEALTHCARE

Baggeridge Brick

BUILDING Tiverton Community Hospital

ARCHITECT Chapman Taylor Healthcare

CLIENT Mid Devon Primary Healthcare NHS Trust

PRODUCT Red and Cream Gilts

CHARACTERISTICS Baggeridge's machine-moulded stock bricks mimic the irregular edges and variations in colour and texture associated with handmoulded bricks but with modern high-performance characteristics.

Red Gilt was used for the majority of the two-storey building with the Cream adding design detail and providing a lighter colour to internal courtyards

SPECIAL PROPERTIES The bricks were sympathetic to the local architecture and offered a soft yet defined texture
