PRODUCT USED Four levels of vertically stacked western red cedar timber louvre panels, 3m long, were fitted around three sides of the climbing-wall frame and the building perimeter

CHARACTERISTICS The solar-shading system, fitted on all sides of the building, minimises sun glare for future housing occupants and leisure-centre users alike. The profile of the louvres was designed to prevent birds nesting while maximising shading characteristics

SPECIAL PROPERTIES Manufactured in western red cedar, the timber louvres were chosen for their sustainability and long-lasting resilience
