Seamless integration of the supply chain, at least when it comes to architectural and construction events, has a long way to go, judging by the competing activity on Wednesday evening this week. Over at the Treasury, the Prime Minister's Better Public Building Award shortlist was announced. Meanwhile at the British Museum, the party to mark the succession of Rob Smith as chairman of Davis Langdon & Everest, in succession to Paul Morrell, was also taking place. And in the City of London, the RIBA held its national awards event, sold out weeks before. It must be possible to get some coordination into all this . . .
