Bennetts Associates has this week submitted its scheme for the regeneration of Brighton's West Pier. It is designed to represent an alternative to the existing application, by KSS Sport and Leisure Design, which is awaiting a planning decision (AJ 11.7.02).The future of the pier gained new urgency this week when the structure collapsed further.
