Bookmarks, London's new socialist bookshop, has commissioned a 2m model of Vladimir Tatlin's Monument to the Third International. Manager Simon Hester claims: 'Tatlin's tower is a wonderful centrepiece for a socialist bookshop, incorporating state-of-the-art technology at the turn of the century, and the feeling of confidence and hope that the Russian Revolution inspired amongst millions throughout the world.'
