The Architecture Foundation has continued its surprisingly busy year by launching another competition.
The contest - developed in association with modelmaker Pipers - aims to 'uncover practices with new ideas'for commercial architecture.
The 'Next Generation Award' is open to all professionally certified, British-based architects yet to design a commercial building in the UK larger than 100,000 square feet.
Three shortlisted practices will be given the opportunity to exhibit on the London stand at MIPIM (8-11 March 2005), the international real-estate exhibition in Cannes.
The winning practice will be announced there and will be awarded with an individual consultation with a leading figure in the property industry.
