We would like to apologise to Ryder HKS for a misleading letter that appeared in the AJ (10.2.05). Had the practice been consulted, the letter would not have been published due to its inaccurate content.

A loose-insert advertisement in the AJ (3.2.05) contained a statement about immigration that could be construed as being prejudiced. The AJ wishes to apologise to readers and to dissociate itself from this statement, which was never the opinion of the AJ. We can assure readers that it will not appear again.
